The Nordic Islands Adventure Race, part of the Adventure Racing World Series, took place July 13-20, and took teams 700 kilometers from Are, Sweden to Alesund, Norway. Chaos Machine, a combination of members from Strong Machine AR and Chaos Raid, was one of nine teams on the start line. We raced for seven days nonstop, finishing 11 out of the race's 14 stages, and completing an alternate 12th stage to complete a short-course finish.
